I have been meaning to upload these photos for a fair while now, and although there’s no riding in this set, it was one of the funnest days I think we have ever had. I think these photos date back to 2005 and we all went out to a small country town to help build a set of dirt jumps for a show the next day. We had access to heavy machinery, endless room to go nuts on, and a crazy group of mates down to have some fun. People got naked, old water trucks from the war got up on two wheels, and plenty of laughs were had.

Probably one of those ‘had to be there’ days, but for my friends of you that were present, here’s a little momento…

Just received my copies in the mail from the boss and I have to say that this issue looks like a banger. I am so happy to see heaps of new contributors and the quality of work is amazing. Now that it is out, I can reveal that Josh Fountain and Blake Reedman got a spot in this issue and I’d just like to thank the two of them for their efforts.

In other news, by now you should have seen the trailer for the new Focal Point DVD titled ‘Have Fun With It’ which Coops has been working hard to finish. The trailer is solid enough on its own, so I can’t imagine how good the full thing will be.

Well it took a lot of will power to keep this one under wraps once I found out from Coops, but I am so stoked on Nick K finally gracing the cover of Focal Point Bmx Magazine. I’ve had this photo stuck up on my wall at home for a while now and I’m so happy to have it published. We can’t wait for this to hit the shops so we can check out the fresh new layout we’ve been hearing about from Coops.

Nick Kajewski, Jerry Vandervalk, Chris Lembo and myself hit the schools and went on a solid mission to get some photos & clips. I think most of us would agree that it was one of the hottest days we have had in recent times, so it was a bit rough out in the midday sun. Apparently cameras actually have temperature warning lights that come on if it is too hot! Never seen those before. Anyway, Nick & Jerry went to town on the rails we found and I am sitting on a few keepers which I might use for other projects down the track. Here’s some sneaky photos from the day.
